{"id":12463,"date":"2020-10-29T17:54:41","date_gmt":"2020-10-29T21:54:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pentadocs.com\/?p=12463"},"modified":"2024-05-21T12:31:26","modified_gmt":"2024-05-21T16:31:26","slug":"keeping-you-healthy-during-crisis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pentadocs.com\/keeping-you-healthy-during-crisis\/","title":{"rendered":"Keeping You Healthy During Crisis"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>As we continue to confront the challenges of the pandemic era, Pinnacle ENT is proud to report we are still safely caring for our patients in our offices across southeast Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Just as we iterated at the peak of the first wave of the novel coronavirus, COVID-19, we are ready and here for you and your family\u2019s health needs when you need it most.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our physicians, audiologists, physician assistants, speech pathologists and staff are continually working to ensure the safety of everyone in our offices through strict protocols and diligent attention to detail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the weather rolling into another season of cold and flu struggles, in tandem with ongoing pandemic waves, it\u2019s important now more than ever to stay on top of your symptoms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Safe, Reliable Care<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" src=\"https:\/\/pentadocs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/istock-1266488044-300x200-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-29689\" title=\"istock-1266488044-300x200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pentadocs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/istock-1266488044-300x200-1.jpg 300w, https:\/\/pentadocs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/istock-1266488044-300x200-1-256x171.jpg 256w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>As always, safety is our number one priority\u2014following CDC guidance, we\u2019ve put strict measures in place to protect you and your loved ones while delivering the highest level of ear, nose, throat and audiology care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What You Can Expect from Us:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Extensive Cleaning. We are cleaning each exam room between patients and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Masked and Protected Personnel. Physicians and staff are wearing masks and personal protective equipment during all patient encounters. This is for everyone\u2019s safety and not an indication of a staff member having an active coronavirus infection.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enforcement of Social Distancing. We have rearranged our waiting rooms to allow at least six feet between each chair.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Limited Schedules. We are limiting the number of patients we see in our offices at a time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Patient Screening. We are continuing to screen all patients with our COVID-19 screening questions and closely monitoring patients\u2019 temperatures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Staff Screening. We are conducting COVID-19 screenings for all staff members and checking their temperatures daily. Anyone exhibiting symptoms or who have been in close contact with an individual with symptoms will be quarantined according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/coronavirus\/2019-ncov\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">current CDC guidelines<\/a> prior to returning to work.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Telemedicine Appointments Still Available. We are continuing to offer telemedicine appointments for high-risk patients, routine follow-up issues and anyone who would prefer a virtual visit at this time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&nbsp;What You Should Do:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Wear a Mask. We are requiring all patients bring a mask or facial covering to wear when in our offices. We cannot provide masks at this time. Any patient who arrives without a mask may be turned away and rescheduled.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Don\u2019t Bring Visitors. Patients are not allowed to bring visitors with them into our offices. Pediatric patients, those with disabilities or those who require medically necessary assistance are allowed to be accompanied by one parent, guardian or visitor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Let Us Know When You Have Arrived. We are encouraging patients to wait in their vehicles whenever possible. Please call our office to let us know you have arrived. We will notify you when it is time to come in for your visit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stay Home if You\u2019re Unwell. If you are experiencing a fever, cough or shortness of breath, please contact us to reschedule or switch to a telemedicine appointment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete Paperwork in Advance. We are asking all new and established patients to complete their intake paperwork ahead of time either through the online portal or printed at home.
